Chapter 2, Grievance 14 – Whimsical dictates

The California governor has imposed a form of martial law. As a communist dictator would do, he has used unelected bureaucrats to act as a quasi-legal regional authority to impose mandatory mask-wearing and lock-downs contrary to empirical scientific studies. In circumventing the state legislature he has undercut the very essence of a representative, republican form of governance. An appeal is made to the Congress and to the Executive Branch of the US government to recognize New California’s Constitutional duty to reject this tyranny. We request that the President of the United States act to remedy these abuses and to establish the New California State.
